May 12 is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day.
Fibromyalgia is an invisible disease meaning that to look at me, you wouldn’t know that I am sick. Presently doctors do not know the cause, therefore, they are only able to treat the symptoms and that not well. Some doctors don’t even think it is a disease. Some say you are psychosomatic.
Right now, I have been dealing with a great deal of pain and fatigue, so I find it hard to do much writing. Therefore, I am going to try my best to share something from a friend’s blog in order to do my part in promoting fibromyalgia awareness.
Please check out this post. And then find your own way to Shine a Light for Fibromyalgia in May. Maybe just add a fibromyalgia frame to your profile picture on Facebook next week. To do this, just edit your photo and “Add a frame”. Search for fibro and you will find the frame.
And with no further ado, meet my good friend Brandi at Being Fibro Mom. She is a wonderful advocate for Fibromyalgia, on her blog, on youtube, and on the board of directors at the International Support Fibromyalgia Network.
