I’ve always felt a little apprehensive in adding that last word on this hymn title.
Doesn’t it sound a little tentative?
As if He might fail us sometime but he hasn’t yet.
HE WILL NEVER FAIL US.
God has ALWAYS been there for me. Tweet
lead carried me through every kind of trial and I could not get through this life without his guidance, his protection, his love, his provision.
He gives me everything I need and it is only because of Him that I have made it through.
He has never failed me yet and he never will fail me.
Maybe we should change the wording of the hymn
He will do the same for you.
He is right there beside us.
Waiting to catch us if/when we fall.
He loves us so much ..like no one ever can.
Depend on Him today
Look to Him.
He will never fail you. Ever.
I love the Amplified version when it comes to these promises.
.. for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you[nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you[assuredly not]!”
Trust Him with your life!
Today I’m linking up with Kate Motaung and the Five Minute Friday Crew. We’re writing on the prompt, “Protect”. I’m also linking up with Suzanne Eller at #LiveFree where the prompt is “Never”
