Missing the Mark

Have your ever felt like you missed the mark?missed-the-mark-target

I think we all have at one time or another.

Today I was reading from Acts about the Apostle Paul and his conversion. Paul, or Saul at that point, had missed the mark. He was a very learned religious man but he didn’t have his eyes on the right goal. He headed out with all the passion in himself to squash the Church  but God had other plans. God opened his eyes and directed all that passion into sharing the gospel of Christ to all nations.

I am thrilled that God is a God of second chances. He can take our biggest misses and turn them into great things for Him. If we allow Him to take hold of us and guide us, he will help us hit the target He has set up for us.

Don’t give up when you miss the mark. Fall to your knees and confess.

Then get up and let God set your sights on His goal. {TWEET THIS}
