FMF : Decide

FMF (1)

It’s Friday! And it’s time to link up with Kate Motaung and Five Minute Fridays to write on a specific topic for five minutes no editing. (Well, I’ll admit … I edit because my typing is not so good .)

Today’s topic … Decide.

I decided when we moved last November that I would work towards blogging on a regular basis. I had just taken the 31 days in October Challenge and I found it so therapeutic for me and I hope encouraging to others.

I decided I would try to do everything I can to make my blog beautiful in addition to making my words beautiful. I have signed up for different e-mails that guide and direct, but pretty much, I’ve been floundering along not really knowing what to do first. So now, I have tons of e-mails with ways to blog better. But I haven’t done a whole lot beyond that.

So last night a I decided … to create a facebook page for my blogs. A place women can go to get some encouragement. I hope that it will be just that. My goal is to post my daily devotional thoughts here. Also, I will post from this blog “Leaving a Legacy”. Where I post different thoughts and ideas to encourage others in their spiritual walk.  {Click Here to go to my new Facebook Page}

One thing I want to do is write a series on what I am very familiar with as of late .. that is Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I just attended a pain clinic specifically for helping people manage their lives that are much different post-diagnosis. I want to share some of the things I learned. But I mostly want to help those who knows someone with fibromyalgia understand it better so that they can be a better encouragement to their friends who suffer with the disease.

Fibromyalgia is a very misunderstood syndrome. I want to write to help others under about this invisible disease that many, even doctors, do not understand. So watch for  SERIES : FIBROMYALGIA IS REAL.

FIBROMYALGIA

If you have questions, please ask them. I’ll try to find the answer.

If you have fibromyalgia and would like to guest post sometime please contact me.

Expecting Great Things!

  1. I’ve thought about taking the plunge and making a FB page for my blog but haven’t bit the bullet yet. I’ve taken some of these steps too. I’m in the #7 spot this week.

  2. Joined your Facebook Page GiGi. I’ve had one for awhile or the same purpose. I haven’t had as much success as I planned, but God has a plan.

Your new series sounds great. My Mom suffered with rheumatoid arthritis.

  3. Years ago they didn’t know what it was, but as I look back at my grandmother and how she moved. I understand now that she probably suffered the way I do. It amazes me though that she never stopped doing and she never complained.

  4. I agree it can be overwhelming to know where to start with developing your blog. Sorry you suffer from fibromyalgia. One of my friends has it and I know she finds it really frustrating that people don’t understand. Your series is a great way to raise awareness.

  5. I think this is a very needed series and I have several friends who battle both Fibro and RA… I am sure they would love the support and help in raising awareness and understanding!

  6. Great post! Congrats on having solid direction for your blog and ministry and … deciding to pursue it intently! There are lots of great resources out there to help with your blog. I know many people will be blessed by your experiences. 🙂

  7. Hi, GG. I love that you want to help others who struggle with the same conditions. A testimony to your strength. I pray God will expand your words to just the people who need them. P.S. I read on down to the Easter post. Your perspective on what happened during the darkness of Saturday was insightful. Thank you for visiting my blog too. Keep the words going, sister.

I love reading your comments. Tell me what you think.
